I am very much interested in your booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy., and work, and desire to know all there is to be known about this Christian Science or Art of healing. I am told that your friends in Chicago are expecting you to be in Milwaukee next monthEditorial Note: Mary Baker Eddy taught a class in Chicago in May 1884. When her travels were being planned, there was a possibility that she would travel to Milwaukee as well as Chicago.. Will you please to tell me if I am rightly informed, and if you go there to teach. also, if it would be better for one who desires your instruction to attend your College in Boston?

I have a dear sisterEditorial Note: Clara H. Scott who has been a sufferer for many years, from various troubles, the present trying affliction is an eye trouble. a weakness and pain in the optic nerve - which prevents her from reading, writing and sewing. She has tried Doctors and Oculists until tired and discouraged, and asks me to write and ask you, if you can help her. I have read to her, of the cures in your book - performed from a distance, and she is anxious you should undertake hers. Will you do so? Money is no object. She is an earnest and useful Christian woman, and this affliction prevents her from carrying on her work both for her family and for the MasterEditorial Note: Jesus Christ. She asks " to be made every whit whole.John 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? " She has suffered from uterine trouble and dyspepsia As Written: dispepsia and nervous prostration. Hoping and praying that she may feel your healing power on the receipt of this and that I may hear from you as soon as convenient. I am in Christian love.

My sister is Mrs. Clara H. Scott of Minneapolis.

She is now visiting me.
