Pardon the liberty I take in addressing you

We have heard As Written: herd of your fame and as we came to New Mexico for the benefit As Written: benefut of our boy who has a disease of the nerves we wish to consult you as he seems to get no better,

I am a widow of limited means and when we landed here our money was nearly gone I was born in 1823As Written:23 but old as I am have been taking in washing to sustain us

Please turn me not empty away
