I am indebted to you for an appreciative word in regard to one of my booksEditorial Note: Theodore Thornton Munger was the author of several religious books. This could be a reference to On the Threshold (1881) or The Freedom of Faith (1883)., & also for two books of your ownEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. which I shall read as soon as I can get time. Just now I am overwhelmed with work. My wife is much interested in you work & I am interested in your theor[*]Gap: letters.Reason: taped over. I am quite clear on one point – viz – that the order of mind & spirit has power over the order of the organic.

As to the forms and conditions of the exercise of this power, I have as yet no conviction; but I look on & if I do not believe I by no means scoff.
