Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Henry Newstetter on embossed paper from Massillon, Ohio.
Editorial Note: Newstetter refers to his letter to Mary Baker Eddy, dated June 28, 1883, and says
he has not received a reply. He is eager to see his life changed through the power
of God and asks that Eddy will let him know her terms for instructing him in Christian
Science. He writes later in the letter that he does not currently have much money,
but he still hopes that he will be able to learn more about Christian Science. (There
is no evidence that Newstetter ever studied with Eddy.)
