Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Susan R. Ordway on embossed lined paper from Quissett, Massachusetts,
with notations in the handwriting of Calvin A. Frye.
Archival Note: See L18062 for an annotated transcription of this letter. A notation in Frye's hand
on the letter indicates that Ordway's question about the second coming was intended
for The Christian Science Journal; however, a response to the question was not found in the Journal.
Editorial Note: Ordway would like to study with Mary Baker Eddy but is experiencing financial challenges.
Would Eddy make a discount in her case? She also poses the question: Does Christian
Science teach that Jesus is not coming the second time in person?
