Allow me to address you. I have been sick a great deal of the time for the past ten years and at time very sick and never getting strong from one severe sickness until As Written: untill another would come upon me. This winter Mrs A. B. Poole came into town and I have had her treat me I think she has given me nine about half hour treatments, and am sure she has relieved me in a measure still the cause is not removed. She; Mrs Poole tells me and also others that I ought to learn her way of treating and she said she felt confident I would make a healer and that she would like me to study As Written: studdy with her. but I felt like this that before deciding upon anything of this kind I would like to ask of you if you will please be so kind and frank as to tell me what her standing is as a ScientestEditorial Note: Christian Scientist and Lady in your estimation, for if I am going to learn I want to go through and learn all there is to be learned also from a good Teacher. she asks As Written: askes me one hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $100 in 1885 is the equivalent of $2,644.93 in 2019. in advance and I am to stand my chance of what I can do then
