Mrs. M. B. G. Eddy -
My soul's loved sister,

Do not I pray you, deem this address obtrusive. I give it to you through the thoughts you have given the world.

To me, Christian Science is the Light that should come to our Age. It seems to me my work to prepare transparencies. How shall I be fitted for the divine art is my question. Who, better than yourself can tell? I would I could see you but as that may, not be now, I will give you some facts, and, if you are interested in what I might help you to do you will manifest it in your own way.

I have spent my business life in the schoolroomAs Written:school room with the love and satisfaction that comes from tracing the divine image in human souls and delineating it in character.

Last spring I took the course of metaphysics in Dr. Sawyer's Class in the hope of saving my daughter's noble husband whose mortal body was fast yielding to a belief of ConsumptionEditorial Note: tuberculosis. But I was too late to accomplish what I most desired. In three weeks from the time I saw him, hemorrhage of the lungs occurred and in less than six minutes he was taken out of our visible presence.

I did not think best with no experience to assume so difficult a case and so, contented myself by helping my daughter in all ways possible and in soothing our patient.

How I wished you could see him! He was so young and full of manly courage and love of home - to be stricken by what we consider an error and not a dispensation of Providence makes me feel it ought not to have been - my greatest comfort now will be in saving others.

I am now living in my own home surrounded by many friends a large circle of the most intelligent people are eagerly inquiring of our beautiful scienceEditorial Note: Christian Science -

I have two very interesting patients. I feel assumed of a blessing in the work, but I know I need more help and, if from books or other teaching I should be most glad to obtain it that I may the sooner reach my thought of usefulness. Some have suggested forming a class for instruction -

I think there is a demand for Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. On what terms could I procure this work for sale? What other works than Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy do I need for study?

I have time and wish to be fully prepared for the demands of Christian ScienceAs Written:C.S in our great and prosperous cityEditorial Note: Topeka, Kansas.

A reply to my questions and such counsel as you may be willing to give will be gratefully accepted and used to the best of my ability -

Yours in the Cause of Truth,
Mrs. E.S. Robinson
