I was very sorry I could not be instructed by you in the science of Christian Healing, but your school is so far from my own home, that the expense would be more than I could bear.

I have learned from a lady who learned of Mrs Corson. a student of Dr Osgoods of Boston, & I have been giving some treatments gratuitously As Written: gratuoisly to some worthy people of our neighborhood, & have met with excellent success.

I feel encouraged. & if I can I shall yet try to come to you for a term.

I enclose P.O.O. three & half dolsEditorial Note: $3.50 in 1887 is the equivalent of $115.51 in 2024. & wish you to send me Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy & a copy of Science of Man.

& Dear Madam if you have any other books that will give additional light on the subject I would like you to give a list of names & prices.

I wish to become a subscriber for your paper, but have mislaid the paper & forgotten the price.

please send me a sample copy. & I will remit by return mail.
