Editorial Note: Laird writes that he has received Mary Baker Eddy's letter (not extant) dated July
11, 1883. Laird assures Eddy that he will have someone take care of her concern regarding
changes needed on the monument to her husband, Asa Gilbert Eddy, and her parents, Mark Baker and Abigail Baker. The monument was set up in the Baker family lot in Park Cemetery, Tilton, New Hampshire.
