I hoped to see you before your reception days were over, but was not so fortunate, so will write you with the hope that you will not be too busy to send me a line in reply.

My daughterEditorial Note: Either Ethel Thompson Cornelius (nee Seal) (1868-1916) or Harriet F. Seal (1864-1949). and myself have been under the care of Mrs. Crosse for seven weeks, and expect to return to PhiladelphiaEditorial Note: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday next much better than when we came, but feeling so sorry there is no ScientistEditorial Note: Christian Scientist there.

We are much interested in Christian Science, and think we may study it if we can afford it. I write you to know what are the easiest terms you can make for us if we both study. If our means were not quite limited I would not ask this; indeed were I able I would most gladly aid in establishing Metaphysical Colleges wherever it could be done.

I refer you, by permission, to Mrs Crosse as to our fitness to study. I am a member of the Presbyterian church though by birth and training a Quaker.

When will you form your next class? I may not be able to come in Sep. but might a month later.

Very truly,
Mrs. W. T. Seal.
