Archival Note: A notation on this letter indicates that a copy of Science and Health was sent to Smith on March 17, 1884.
Editorial Note: Smith tells Mary Baker Eddy that her student, Miranda R. Rice, is in the area, arousing much opposition due to some of her cures. Smith has had
an interview with Rice and is now convinced that she is right and his former beliefs
are wrong. He orders a copy of Eddy's book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
