Editorial Note: Stockham tells Mary Baker Eddy that she has heard of Christian Science and wants to
learn more about it. She asks if Eddy has an institute where it is taught, and if
so, how long will it take her to learn Christian Science and what are the terms? Is
having practiced medicine an advantage in learning it? Does Eddy have a work on Christian
Science? She wants to know how Christian Science heals. Stockham writes that she is
always interested in truth and progress and wants Eddy to give her all the information
she can.
