Please pardon the liberty I take in addressing you but after reading in the "Courier Journal of this place, an accountEditorial Note: The May 6, 1885, issue of the Courier-Journal included an article entitled “Is it Will Power: A Learned Dissertation on Mind Cures, Faith Cures or Christian Science.” It is possible that this is the article that Wheeler read. of your powers and cares. I am prompted to write you and ask for information about treating a patient at a distance, what you require of him whether or not he must be in sympathy and harmony with the healer at a certain time.

I am a clerk in this city and have been under the treatment of a Physician for six months and grow no better, my trouble so says the doctor is Liver and stomach disorders, and I take medicine continually though still able to attend to my duties at my office. I am unfit for anything that require much strengthAs Written:strengh. Now what I beg leave to ask is this. Will you kindly advise me what to do for I have implicit faith in your As Written: you powers and believing you to be a God-favoredAs Written:god favored woman ready and willing to advise spiritually As Written: spiritualy as well as physicallyAs Written:phisicaly.
