Dear Mrs. Eddy,

I have seen one of your Christian Science Journals and find the name and price of your most valuable BookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, but the name has gone from me, I have the $3.17Editorial Note: $3.17 in 1886 is the equivalent of $98.69 in 2022. in a postal note and will enclose the same with this, I have a great deal of faith in your curative and shall send for more books for my friends east and west if I get this one all right.

I have an invalid husband, has lost his voice entirely his mind is not very strong, in fact he is to all appearance through with the business world, but who knows but there is a cure for him, my sister with me has a cancerous wart just under the left eye and I have poor eyes and quite deaf. as a natural consequence I want all to be cured, I shall look with faith and hope, (I too am a descendant As Written: decendent from the Puritans, Morse) for your Book, Key to the BibleEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy,
