My name is, of course new to you, as I am only one of the "a b c" students of Christian Science, but yours is a household word in our home, as in many, many others-

Faint and distant though it may sound in farawayAs Written:far-away Boston, I want to add my western note to the general chorus of thanksgiving for the precious truth, you have been the means of "bringing to the remembrance" of humanity. It is my earnest desire to devote life and energies to the advancement of this blessed cause-

Enclosed you will find sixteen dollars and fifty cents ($16.50)Editorial Note: $16.50 in 1887 is the equivalent of $544.53 in 2024. for which please send me six copies of "Science and Health"Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and one each of your own pamphlet publications: Christian Healing, The People's God, Mind Healing and Defence of Christian Science-

If I am rightly informed, this covers express charges. Through somebody's mistake, my mother and I were obliged to pay $1.10Editorial Note: $1.10 in 1887 is the equivalent of $36.30 in 2024. charges on a package of "Science & Health" sent us last November-
