(1 Cor. 13I Cor 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. I Cor 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. I Cor 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. I Cor 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, I Cor 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; I Cor 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; I Cor 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. I Cor 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. I Cor 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. I Cor 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. I Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. I Cor 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. I Cor 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. read) Subject John 10th. 21st.

Hence the words of our Master the great expositor of metaphysics “if ye were blind ye should have no sin”John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. and again “Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?”John 10:21 Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. The word devil comes from the Greek Diabolis which signifies a calumniator or accuser

Devil is called Belial which is a Hebrew word and signifies that which is good for nothing, a libertine

My version of Devil is error of every kind and character and error has all modes It allures with the hope of impunity It promises universal knowledge of evil It deceives disguises betrays It is the enemy of peace or harmony Its activity is equal to its malice It is named an evil spirit because God is Spirit and error is a false claim a liar

Mind is Intelligence matter is non intelligence

Reason and revelation must coincide else one or the other must be useless Reason assures us that if the cause be embraces the effect and there can be nothing in an effect which existed not in the cause hence there is no blindness In He that formed the eye can he not see?
