Will students be so kind as to use my name less frequently and extravagantly As Written: extravagently and only when it is unavoidable. Christian Science drops personality whenever it can be merged in generality without dissimulation. The student who has gained the wisdom requisite for his course will see this without being reminded of it.

Many of the panegyrics As Written: panegerics so wildly and widely pasted on me are too absurd for common sense. Old Time, the centuries seer, accords due justice even though tardy and eternity rewards all merit.

He who today is wise enough to spare his fulsome praise and untimely interpretation of me spares himself benefits our CauseEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science saves my flat contradiction of this new edition of Guliver and gives the wire-pulling malicious mentality less work and satisfaction

If common sense would stay this absurd impulse and it certainly would then give us this sixth sense and it would be scientific.

To the question so frequently asked "shall I address you as Doctor of Divine ScienceAs Written:D.S.D." we answer I never knew that one half of my collegiate degreesEditorial Note: Degrees conferred by the Massachusetts Metaphysical College were Bachelor of Christian Science (C.
