We shall confine our remarks mostly to the spiritual signification of the scripture.

Friends, The Bible is the book of Books, the foundation Truth of all things; yea, the only revelator of what God is, and what God does. But for this Bible my earthly career had passed from human scutiny over seventeen years, ago --

The book of Genesis has an importance to which no other document of history bears the slightest claim It is not only the oldest book that is trustworthy history but the only one that opens to spiritual sense a clear concise view of God's government and spiritual creation as when the eternal US made man and made him in the image and likness of Spirit This Truth of being is the spiritual origin of the universe and of man that is the reality of man and the universe that we shall contrast with the so called material origin of both which is the error and speculative theory. Though the geology and genealogy of Genesis weighed in the balance of material and speculative history are wanting in direct data or minus the material coroborating fact it matters not for having more clearly than all other history the spiritual fact it is of no importance what mere matter is supposed to substantiate or to refute. The material lack confirms the spiritual presence in all history; for the one rules out the other. We cannot serve God and mammon

When prying into profane or material history for incident, testimony, or proof, we are not drawing our premises and conclusions of man and God from the opposite spiritual Truth and this is our only safe starting point or inference Matter is a mortal instructor, Spirit is our immortal teacher, yea, it is the unerring and eternal Truth that contains the science of God and is the promulgator of all harmony Materialistic history and philosophy are the opinions of man so immeasurably inferior to the perfect Infinite and One Mind imparting spiritual understanding or its own idea image and likeness .. That spiritual and moral law, called the ten commandments, is a perfect digest of wisdom wherewith to regulate the routine of life; without it there could be no spiritual order in Truth and the science of being could not have been expressed by the unerring Mind that already embraced it.

So indispensible are the ten commandments to health, happiness and immortality, we have made them our central figure in the group of healing.
