. The origin of sacrifices we must leave in the silence with which history surrounds
it. All will allow that the Eucharist and deprecatory views of sacrifice adhere to mortals. As an historicalquestion the origin of sacrifice is unsoluble and the higher views of its expiatory
character dependendent as it is on its typeical nature appear but gradually in Scripture
Christianity is not profession but proof it is the demonstration of health of body
and health of mind brought out by understanding God the Principle of all being and
by understanding God as Life Truth and Love which are Principle and not a person and by understanding Principale to be a trinity in unity the three in one impossible to a person but natural and

just how Truth or Love restores health reclaims the prodigal destroys error must be left to the decisions of Christian Science
or Metaphysics which treat of and alone can define the nature of
Deity. If there is aught of which He is ignorant and
you must inform Him He is imperfect in wisdom. But
God is all wise yea the only Intelligence and God is

material things for Life or Intelligence pleasure or pain and

Scientific sense of being that comes from our spiritual
instead of material senses of Life and individuality--

would see just how that mite gained two other mites making us
a material mite less and two spiritual mites more in
self sacrifice and Love thus taking us little by little
out of the grasp of matter and laying us gently in the hands of
Spirit even as the mother layeth the sweet babe to her bosom to
nourish it into manhood. Then has your mite material earned the
spiritual mite that masters matter and removes mountains.
Let us be Scientists, no longer grovelling groan under
the burdens of matter but rise, stretch our wings and be free!
Not as a transcendentalist in airy nothing but having gained the
liberty of the sons of God knowing that mind hath power
infinite untrameled by the limits of personal sense that sing and
and soar in freedom of Soul. Science lights the long road to
heaven with beacon fires They warm they encourage and they illumine in the unfamiliar
track helping us on showing us how
to walk when to run where to rest with a mere theory who is fit
to meet the great forever Science alone can meet the demands of
time and eternity. When reckoning existence from the stand point
of sense instead of Soul who is content with the meaner motive
the love that is fickle the joy that is ephemeral the hate that is
implacable the envy that is remorseless where all must end as it
began in mortality who would tarry in the storehouse of knowledge
where moth and rust doth corrupt and error steals our joy
Who would slumber in the soiled sanctum of an educated conscience
and live on without the science of his course
Science opens up the questions of being in the higher field of
inquiry Metaphysics that takes existence out of the violent
hands of physics Before the history of Bethlehems babe all

life Unless we are getting rid of death sin sickness and
error of every sort nearing that Principle of being taught by
Jesus and learning the demonstration of Life Holiness
and immortality--If we are learning of God instead of man our way to harmony and Heaven
we shall bring out God
in demonstration in proof of this, but if we are following the
guideance of man made theories we shall vibrate as a pendulum
between Spirit and matter between the pure and the impure the
perfect and imperfect the mortal and the immortal the right and the
wrong until the force of error conquers its own power and becomes
to big an error to keep on Then the vibration ceases and the
error drops into oblivion its native nothingness But what is it that finish the scene
What has carried on the process of
the destruction of sin of sickness and death There are but
two statements for one cause and effect and but one

the Principle being better than to venture on sin to dare to
do unto others what we would not they should do to us
and if we have advanced thus far in Science sin will disappear
in our demonstration of Life but if we are too ignorant of the Principle that brings out
harmon that moral sense that
is a moral law to life and will not obey this law our moral or
spiritual sense too blank to discern it for this sin of ignorance
we shall suffer but shall suffer less than knowing the right
to persue the wrong Our eyes must be opened some time to the
science of our course or we shall never gain the
demonstration of bliss and immortality Science or suffering
alone opens the eyes because we abide not by the rule of Christian Science to bring
out the Principle of harmony and
heaven in our lives We call ourself miserable sick
and a sinner then die -- in belief to live by the rule of
Science at last before we can be rid of sickness of sin or
death We must work our passage to harmony the ParadiseAs Written:Paradice of
Spirit We cannot shirk the task We have had no
atonement that this needless and forgives us our debts
unless we forgive our debtor, we must do right or we
cannot reap the reward of right If we do wrong we shall
suffer for that wrong, this is Gods law and Jesus never annuled the law although the
good do suffer because of the evil
The theory creed or doctrine teaching that sin is forgiven by a
personal God instead of destroyed by suffering or refrained
from through Science is a dangerous one and
covers a volcano of error only to consume with pent up fires and
brough forth in eruptions belching its sulphurous odors or hints of
Hades from church, from state, from civil religious and sacred
sources until we are tempted to think that being hath no science that all is chance and original chaos that the biggest villain is
the prince of this world and an honest man is not the work of
God Let us be patient God governs to day and
tomorrow this troubled dream is not the reality of Life but tis
well to see evil as evil instead of good if we see it at all.
If not doing as well as we know how the waking from this dream
will not come The dream will continue and grow more troubled
bring more disquiet and unhappiness until from the face of
self-love we at length relinquish all error and especially the silly scheme of doing
wrong and thinking to come out right. Sin
sickness and death we must fight with the fact found out in in
Science that these are conditions of mind latent thoughts that to
personal sense appear on the body but which conditions mind only
and not matter can destroy
