"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen." Heb 11:1

No Christian As Written: christian can have faith in sense material. they must Correct sense material with sense spiritual by leaving sense material As Written: mat. & attaching As Written: attacting ourselves to sense spiritual. God is represented in scriptures as a rock, a shepherd As Written: shep'd and a bird. The rock in its material sense represents solidity & primitiveness and firmness. God is "like the shadow of a great rock in a weary landIsa 32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. ". We think of Him also of a sure foundation. We see the care of a shepherd providing for his flock building a fold to shelter them; and when the little lambs grow weary and their lithe limbs become weak in following him he takes them up and carries them in his bosom then we come from the sense material to the divine sense of God as love and see the good shepherd caring for the sheep and not weary with his care.

Again we speak of the pleasure of personal sense, and forget the voice of the shepherd. Time waits upon eternity. Probation has not ended when this body disappears. This leads us to consider what is the term faith that should stimulate us to leave those things that are behind and press forward toPhil 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, Phil 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. . James says. "Show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my worksJames 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. ". The faith that is the evidence of the unseenHeb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. stands with a demand for us, that we leave the sense of substance material for the sense of substance spiritual.

Unless the mother has sufficient faith to take hold of God as Principle she cannot heal her child a creedal faith has never done this; religion working out for us a theory is good only as it leads to leaving out the letter for the spirit, the connecting link between material belief and spiritual facts.

Healing the sick by faith in a personal God comes to us through the evidence of faith and material sense. We cannot attach our faith in Christianity As Written: christianity by loving material methods, hence the importance today to understand a live faith proven by works & gain a higher sense of God; Love has more solidity than the rock. We cannot serve God and mammonMatt 6:24 ¶No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and
mammon.
. Good is a prophesy, good done attaches us to a good to be done, thus every good that we accomplish attaches us to God.

Can I be a Christian As Written: christian without faith or be saved without faith? There are 2 methods of receiving help our own faith or another’s As Written: anothers . A Christian Scientist’s As Written: Scienctists through As Written: thro’ the understanding will work out the result of healing without a faith on the part of the patient. it is not a blockade As Written: blockad only to the one who denied the benefit received Jesus knew that his work was not hindered by their inability As Written: inablilty to understand him We may attach our faith to error when we believe as I have in pills and narcotics hygiene As Written: higene &c and through suffering have I learned. From the convictions that we have pain in matter (when we learn that matter does not suffer and mind alone suffers) we're called upon to believe what we've proved to be true: that matter cannot suffer believing in matter we are at the mercy of that belief.

Faith cannot reach such a status as that from faith in a person

What did those who lived before Christ have for faith?

We have a better standard than a belief in a personal God.

We have to go to the Principle of the man Jesus for a basis: when a man masters the rules of mathematics As Written: mathamatics, he can prove it, whatever point of the question comes where is our faith? pointed upon person or Principle. If we've taken our faith away from a personal man we've attached it to something more than a personal man, we go to the AuthorEditorial Note: God of our being or need we find in another that which we can find in ourselves. Jesus taught us that method He As Written: he was capable to raise the dead and if we attach ourselves to the same we cannot die.

When can you are suffering say to it that is error for you are suffering: detach your sense from matter "faith is the substance of things hoped forHeb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ". This belief is giving you suffering and does not help you & leaving you sin you are in sin and sickness.

To give you a special rule are you going to mark Paul's statementEditorial Note: Contemporary New Testament scholars point out that Paul was not the author of the book of Hebrews. Rather, it is an anonymous work. it lifts us above to that higher faith in an unseen God made man It As Written: it made him up uprightEccl 7:29 Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. , man made himself up wrong in material sense.

You cannot make matter Intelligence or say mind is in matter they never existed together As Written: togather. Matter As Written: matter is the substratum of mortal belief, the body manifests mind, We've called upon ourselves to believe matter knows of spirit. I have such faith in Omnipotence that I do not ask the patient to believe in it. We're to bring out in act what we hold in thought As Written: tho't .

"By faith we understand that the earth and heavens were made"Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. . Materiality As Written: materiality has no maker: what matter created matter in human will made matter a statement of mortal mind

Love is manifested here and hereafter. its idea is as immortal as God himself.
