We will consider

1st Those who cannot practice Mesmerism

no faith in matter or evil

second The different classes of mesmerizers (there are three)

third Our observations of the evil effects of mesmerism (The MD's need to understand it difficult to handle)

fourth Its imposition (a lie, a kingdom dividedMark 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. )

fifth Its subtlety or demonology

As the serpent is the symbol more subtle than all the beasts of the fieldGen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.
