The Scriptures were the arm to my system of metaphysics Christian Science as step by step I walked toward God And proportionally as all my thoughts revolved around this common centre of their spiritual signification it threw the light of penetration on the page

If I looked into the labyrinth of ancientAs Written:anceint or modern philosophyAs Written:philosopy or ethics I was lost The thread of my spiritual discovery was clipped as by the sisters of destiny

I had no time to borrow from Authors Such a flood tide of truth was lifted upon me at times it was overwhelming and I have drawn quickAs Written:quck breath as my pen flew on feeling as it were submerged in the transfiguration of spiritual ideas Sixty four etc
