Mrs. Eddy todayAs Written:to day recalled the fact that between the ages of 16 and 20 she was a great novel reader, preferring books by Walter Scott and Charlotte Bromte. She spoke of how clearly her memory served her & illustrated by quoting the following from Charlotte Bromte.

"The ties which bind link the happy may be dear, but those which bind the wretched are tenderness unutterable."
