AWORD A WORD TO THE WISE.

We entertain decided views as to the best method for elevating the race physically, morally and spiritually, , We regard good as more natural than evil, and spiritual understanding, the true knowledge of God, that imparts the power to heal, and demonstrate i Truth and Love. The lessons we learn of Christian scienceEditorial Note: Christian Science are applicable to all the needs of man, and Jesus gave them to us for this very purpose, and his life taught us that, “through his stripes”Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isa 53:4 ¶Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. – his experience – defeat and triumph be reduced divine Science to the understanding of man .

No opinions of Gnostic, Pantheist or Spiritualist, enter his line of thought or action. Drugs, matter or mortal mind he never recommended, The divine Mind was his only vehicle and potency in healing. Drugs Hygiene, or animal magnetism never stained the history of his medicine; the Principle of his cure was God, . He knew that erring mortal thought holds in itself all evil and its subjective states sin, sickness and death, Pure Mind, is the Truth
