I am wearing my winter dress because I have no other to wear that is cool Laura has her wardrobe all ready and I have asked her for the last two months to get me some summer clothes She knew I had no cool waist last summer and her sister bought me the cloth for one but Laura will not trouble herself to take any notice of my needs and is so cross when I ask her to do it I have done talking Will you tell Mrs. Knapp I need a white lawn or whatever summer material is worn made prettily with an inside lining fitted to the form If she gets one large enough for herself I could get Martha to fit it to me I want the waist pretty for the carriage so I shall not have to change when I drive out Oh! if I had one like Miss Shannon to help me what a relief it would be. Wont you see that this white waist is gotten for Mother Have it made pretty and rich looking, trimmedAs Written:trimed with nice trimmingAs Written:triming. I want it to wear every day in this hot weather If Mrs Knapp has started for Concord before you see her Please tell Annie what I want and ask her to select one for me A silk one may be more suitable than cotton If so tell Annie to get me a suitable shade of silk and large enough to alter in fitting me and send by Express Cash On DeliveryAs Written:C.
