I always have yielded and shall yield to you on punctuation where you have my meaning As Written: meanig clear It is plain that you understand it in the words referred As Written: refered to Letter to Mr. Wilson is in the wastebasketAs Written:waste basket

Enclosed As Written: Inclosed is the check for your bill but 50 ctsEditorial Note: $0.50 in 1886 is the equivalent of $14.41 in 2021. of it belongs to the Asso. to pay. I will relieve you of the trouble of collecting it

I had forgotten my promise to the Western people to give them As Written: thm in the next Mag.Editorial Note: The Christian Science Journal the article of mine– they had called for. So please pardon me this time for troubling you with a new request, namelyAs Written:namly , to keep the article that I last sent you out of your next issueEditorial Note: This is a reference to the April 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal. James Henry Wiggin was the editor of the Journal at that time. and substitute As Written: substitue the "New Birth"Editorial Note: Mary Baker Eddy’s article, “The New Birth,” was published on pages 1-3 of the April 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal. It was later republished on pages 15-20 of Eddy’s book, Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896.
