I am by no means "displeased", I only named those things, that order, which you so grandly adhere to, be preserved throughout.

I have not looked over your corrections — they are all right in grammar and I understood you should do no more for the proofs than to attend to that. I am displeased with the idea of having that uncalled-for— panegyric thrust upon me at this time, when sober sense, hard work and the wisdom of the serpentMatt 10:16 ¶Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. are demanded
