My dear Student,

God will keep you, and when you hear His voiceJohn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: and can distinguish between the highest false sense that means well, and the "still small voiceI Kings 19:11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: I Kings 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. " of Good you will follow. Till then, God will lend me to you to distinguish for you what is the false and what the true direction.

I shall send for you soon, and when you come to Concord will you bring with you two of the largest and most thrifty century plants for my "pleasant home"

Also ask dear Mrs. Knapp to select for me 6, six, of the rarest and most beautiful pottedAs Written:pot plants and have them sent in the safest As Written: safeest manner to me and by whatever way this is which I leave it to her to ascertain. Your kindness to me — (I speak of the you and Mrs. Knapp whom God hath joined togetherMatt 19:3 ¶The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? Matt 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, Matt 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Matt 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. Mark 10:7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; Mark 10:8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. ) — will not be forgotten and God will reward you, after proving you, "for he that beareth fruit he purgeth that he may bear more fruit,John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. John 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. " Pride is what God takes care to subdue in us all. The Trustees have fairly proven their unfitness for God's service, trustworthiness, which is the highest point of faith.

And God will direct us, and we shall make "the wrath of man praise HimPs 76:10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain. " "If we hear His voice and follow Him none shall be able to pluck us out of His handsJohn 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. John 10:30 I and my Father are one. "

I do hear the voice of God, He does show me the way at all times. Oh! if the Trustees had followed my directions at first the house would now be going up and this cause honored and the title made sound
