My beloved Student

I have felt for a year it was not right for you to attend to aught but healing. May this Xmas and New Year be to you a great epoch in the progress of your growth and the great good you are so capable of doing and are so richly accomplishing My prayer is for your prosperity and success

We need good healers more than anything else to help our causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. and few there are even today, thirty years since Christian ScienceAs Written:C.S. was introduced in MassachusettsAs Written:Mass.! I long to have you made a First Member of our Church and will as soon as the Manual is decent to record it therein It is shocking to me to see how everything that my name is associated with my students allows to be a mark for ridicule I hope you will look this book through every page of it and get a new printer Mr Wilson of CambridgeEditorial Note: Cambridge, Massachusetts to do it for you if nobody else will do it decently

With much thanks for your flowers and especially for your labors in the field
