My beloved editorEditorial Note: Annie M. Knott was Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel.:

Your excellent letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. like the morning ray shone on the clouds.

I thank you. Evil is venting itself, and when found out will have done with itself what needs to be done, fallen not to rise again God is One and All – God is good – is Love and this reassures us. So we toil on and await the results watching in faith, hope, love.

Returning good for evilRom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. I Thess 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. I Pet 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. makes good real and evil unreal. God bless you dear, with all that blesses.

Ever thine
Lovingly,
Mary Baker Eddy
