I should like to repeat to you the wonderful interpositions of providence that have saved me in this suit from being the victim of their conspiracies

Every year of my life I have stronger proofs and more glorious views of God's care and love for me. Let us my dear friend, trust Him under all circumstance, and if the wicked flourish like the green bay tree their end draweth nearPs 37:35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Ps 37:36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. , and Wisdom will be justified of her childrenMatt 11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. Matt 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. Luke 7:33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. Luke 7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! Luke 7:35 But wisdom is justified of all her children. .
