Dear Mr Editor

I now see, on seeing the proof, why I asked you to see that the 7th Rule of the Church be not published ― yea, that the whole matter be suppressedAs Written:suppassed!

As it was arranged it encouraged the thought that many are trying to instill As Written: instil into every mortal that I am what they name me a Pope – Instead of this being the fact I have always been, for this causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science., the household drudge, the servant of servants.

Mr. Johnson knows that that was a rule of the Church and not a rule of Mrs. Eddy's; no other copy is needed
