Beloved:

I see great aims and results both pro and con possible to this Congress businessEditorial Note: This is in reference to the World's Parliament of Religions at The World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. As part of the Parliament events, a Congress of Christian Science is eventually held in September 1893 under the auspices of the National Christian Scientist Association which had adjourned three years earlier..

If you proceed to carry out programme the N.C.S.A. may surprise you by coming in with anti Christian Science, may they not? If so better "be still and know that I am God"Ps 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. as God said to MosesEx 14:14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. who led under difficulties and nothing but Divine power sustained Human power is against us You will learn this from all religionists unless it be pagan religion derived more from nature than man. The CommitteeAs Written:Com. is what shocks me! I of course ought to be on this CommitteeAs Written:Com. but if you knew a tithe of what it is to control aright the best Christian ScientistsAs Written:SChris. Sci. on earth except you (present company always excepted) ― then you would be able to calculate chances. You must pardon me for saying I should decline the honor of serving as one of the CommitteeAs Written:Com.

Who chooses As Written: choses the speakers from out the members of the N.C.S.A.? Look well after this
