After these students return their compilations to you and you arrange them for the addressEditorial Note: This is in reference to the World's Parliament of Religions at The World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. Christian Science was the only faith invited both to hold a denominational Congress of its own and to make a presentation of its teachings at a plenary session of the Parliament. Septimus J.Hanna would help Mary Baker Eddy prepare speakers for the Congress and on September 22, 1893, he would read Eddy’s address to the World's Parliament of Religions.. Please add at its close this or something of the same sort. The matter we have presented to you is extracts from our standard textbookAs Written:text book "Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy" ― and other works by the same author – the Reverend Mary Baker G. Eddy, discoverer and founder of Christian Science! This will be a poser for the pagans! and will do justice to our American institutions and to Christian Science

 of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life.
 2. We acknowledge and adore one supreme and in‐
497:6finite God. We acknowledge His Son, one Christ; the
 Holy Ghost or divine Comforter; and man in God’s
 image and likeness.
497:93. We acknowledge God’s forgiveness of sin in the
 destruction of sin and the spiritual understanding that
 casts out evil as unreal. But the belief in sin is pun‐
497:12ished so long as the belief lasts.
 4. We acknowledge Jesus’ atonement as the evi‐
 dence of divine, efficacious Love, unfolding man’s unity
497:15with God through Christ Jesus the Way-shower; and
 we acknowledge that man is saved through Christ,
 through Truth, Life, and Love as demonstrated by the
497:18Galilean Prophet in healing the sick and overcoming
 sin and death.
 5. We acknowledge that the crucifixion of Jesus and
497:21his resurrection served to uplift faith to understand eter‐
 nal Life, even the allness of Soul, Spirit, and the noth‐
 ingness of matter.
497:246. And we solemnly promise to watch, and pray for
 that Mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus; to
 do unto others as we would have them do unto us; and
497:27to be merciful, just, and pure.
