I find the students are making awful havoc of my address before the C. S. A. — I see that they will not understand it as printed and they will do an immense amount of harm by reason of it I send a brieflet to turn the thought in the right direction Do not publish my address. It will not do It is casting pearlsMatt 7:6 ¶Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Some would be helped by it but more made crazy perhaps by it I am sorry, but this is my life-long task to experiment
