My dear Miss Hall,

Was it not quite a coincidence that I wrote you last, before having read your letter? The pile was so big I had not had time to get to yours, and felt impressed to write

Since reading yours I would suggest that you ask Mr & Mrs ShermanEditorial Note: Bradford Sherman and Martha E. Sherman if it will be safe to send to them, directed to Chicago a package, in other words, two Vols. of my last edition of Science And HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy that I have had bound to suit me and made expressly to present to them. Give them lots of love, tell them I have five clergymen in my present class one of them a distinguished Doctor of LawsAs Written:L.L.D.

I have hitherto felt it my duty to decline receiving students into the Normal Course that I had not fitted for it. But will give Mr. Shermans students in this instance an examination to that end
