My dear Students

I send this by the Dr. not mail When you were here yesterday you named getting me another bookcase and I said no. Now you must learn to obey me as I and the dear God are teaching the Dr. to do and the late lessons are salutary with him I refuse to receive another dollar's worth from the church I have made my last bow to the dear churches noble grand presents to me and shall stop on receiving one more rug if as I understood you there was another which the church designed for me. Now dear very dear students obey me and send only this and no more Also I refuse to be selfish before my own eyes There are great offices of goodness for our church to perform which are of more import to the world as a channel for the church fund than these gifts to be continued to me I am in excellent health and spirits this bright morning As Written: moring May God bless and guide you in all you do. M. A. M. is not concealed from me I know it is trying to drain the church fund and I am prepared to look out for this and want you to be

With love
mother M B Eddy

N. B. Your decision As Written: decission to let Mr Knapp buy the house that you named is right Be sure and let him have it God is showing me much and just the opposite of what my students see or understand
