My dear Mr. Stevenson:

I hereby tell you that no garden or flowers shall be cultivated on my place.

Make no road for me to see such things on this place; the road to Heaven is not one of flowers, but it is strait and narrowMatt 7:13 ¶Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. , it is bearing the crossMatt 16:24 ¶Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. and turning away from things that lure the material senses, denying them and finding all in Spirit, in God, in good and doing good.
