Dear Madam, I shall open my next class, Jan 22ndAs Written:22ondEditorial Note: January 22, 1883 I find your name is booked for a studentEditorial Note: Frances N. Wilbur did not attend Mary Baker Eddy’s January 1883 class, and there is no evidence that she ever studied with Eddy. and so have given you an early notice that you may be all ready when the time arrives

B.Editorial Note: Nota Bene I can make no such discount as you name in tuition the least I shall take a student for ought to be my normal tuition three hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $300 in 1883 is the equivalent of $7,835.27 in 2016. And it is worth a thousand times that. If you are in indigent circumstances I will discount something to you I am the only person that I know of today who can teach this scienceEditorial Note: Christian Science as it should be taught and enable the student to hold his position in the scienceEditorial Note: Christian Science, but for all this I take no advantage, but give my entire labors only when I have a class and if I take that for one sixth of my price per pupil I might as well give up my College at once
