Mother requests that you put the following into shape suitable for being placed at the beginning As Written: beginig of the work you have just compiled for her:

Three epochs in Mrs. Eddy's history.

At the age of 7 years etc while playing with her playmates they asked her what are you going to do when you are grown up? She replied "Write a book.

About 1857 during a severe illness which confined her to her bed for a long period she promised God that if He restored her health she would devote her remaining years to helping sick and suffering humanity.

This now she has faithfully paid unto her God.
