Dear Sir,

I have no moments until late this eve to acknowledge as I aught more than once the aid you have been in copyingEditorial Note: Mary Baker Eddy engaged people to do copying in connection with her work on the third edition of her book, Science and Health. It was published on August 17, 1881., and will avail myself of farther help if I need. But have concluded not to copy a corrected printed page but remodel the bookEditorial Note: Science and Health all together, then I shall need no copyist

I could have seen Miss Mar on Sunday last and hoped she would be at the Hall. I said all about the subject to her friend Mrs. A [?] Unclear or illegible  and told her those manuscripts As Written: Mss. of questions and answers and the private directionsEditorial Note: Private Directions for Metaphysical Healing by Mary Baker Eddy. were all copyrighted before ever I saw Edward Arens and he knew it. Therefore I could see no benefit in my talking it all over again

But should be pleased to see Mrs. Mar now for I think Mrs. A. did not perhaps name it to her as I have heard since you were here that she knew nothing of the circumstances and supposed Arens had a right to do as he did.

It was very wrong for him to so deceive As Written: decieve her and others. I hope he will repent and forsake his sinsProv 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. and find mercy from our All fatherEditorial Note: God who has long suffering and tender mercies for us all. In haste

I am Respectfully Yours
