The perusal of your letterEditorial Note: See 528.57.034. adds to my conclusion that the best thing I could do was to dismiss the idea of teaching you until you do your part, namely, shake off the evil influences that are mesmerizing you to utter blindness both as it regards justice and reason

This mental darkness will of course destroy your health

I saw it and so did others in the class see it before you left the classEditorial Note: Carter and his wife, Sarah Carter, left the class after three lessons.. I began to restore you from its effects on the health, but you treated As Written: treatted me so unkindly I could not and would not go on.

You reason under their psychal influence like a person insane, see only the wrong side of every question the wrong side of health and justice therefore it makes you sick, and unjust.

The next thing they will make you believe is that I instead of those wretches, am making you sick and when you will own that they will be satisfied

But remember God is on my side, and because I am right and doing no wrong to anyone.

The only thing just in your letter is the quotation from mine. I did say "I will teach you for just what you please to pay me, be it more or less" Why did you not do me the justice to add what followed.

You know as well as I, that you said here – you wanted me to set a price and I replied I did not wish to, but wanted you to state it

You refused to do so, and then to meet your demand I set a price and what was it, " tell it not in GathII Sam 1:20 Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph. "!

My tuition is $300Editorial Note: $300.00 in 1883 is the equivalent of $7,835.27 in 2016. and I offered you and your wife my teachings that would heal you and do all else for 50Editorial Note: $50.00 in 1883 is the equivalent of $1,305.88 in 2016.!!! For this I have yet received no thanks but such remarks and such a letter as tell for themselves. May God open your eyes to the awful spell of psychal power and selfishness that gives it a foothold

Yours in Truth
