Manuscript Description: Photograph of a handwritten letter by Mary Baker Eddy on embossed lined paper from Lynn, Massachusetts.
Archival Note: The original letter is in the collection of Longyear Museum. V03054 is a copy of this letter. The year 1871 has been written on the letter later in an unknown hand. However, based on the contents of the letter, the year seems to be 1870. The word "Cut" appears underlined four times around the body of the document.

I was sorry you did not get my word sent you to meet with the class Sat. Eve at Mr. Oliver's. You first proposed it and I acted upon your suggestion naming it to Mr. O., he was delighted and said "have them meet here", and accordingly they did Mr. Allen went to your place of business the day before to inform you but found you not

The class meets every Sat eve at 7. o'clockAs Written:o. c: at Mr O.'s I have a little bible that I purchased for you about a week since and will be happy to send it to you by Dr. Kennedy at your next meeting at Mr. Oliver's
