David Russell Ambrose
David Russell Ambrose (1817-1903) was Mary Baker Eddy's first cousin. He
was the son of David Ambrose (1786-1866), the younger brother of Eddy's mother, Abigail
(Ambrose) Baker (1784-1849). He attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire,
and spent most of his life farming in the area around Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
