Nathaniel Walker Appleton (1848-1921) was born and died in Massachusetts. He worked in Boston as an importer of "oriental & fancy goods," as well as a publisher and stationer. There is no record of Appleton studying with Mary Baker Eddy or joining the Church of Christ (Scientist).
