George Waldron Baker (1853-1925) was the nephew of Mary Baker Eddy. His parents were Eddy's older brother, George Sullivan Baker (1812-1867), and Martha Drew (Rand) Baker (1826-1909). He was a printer by trade and worked in various places throughout the United States and Canada, including Tilton, New Hampshire, Chatham, New Brunswick, and Bristol, Connecticut. In 1907, he was a plaintiff in the "Next Friends Suit" and in 1911, he was among those who contested the will of Mary Baker Eddy.
