Almeda Bell (1837-1889) was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She worked as a clerk for the Michigan Secretary of State and was married to Thomas Bell, a merchant. Bell wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886, expressing an interest in studying at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College; however there is no record of her doing so.
