Mary B.G. (Baker Glover) Billings (1877-1968), the eldest granddaughter of Mary Baker Eddy, was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and died in Spearfish, South Dakota. Billings was healed of crossed eyes by Eddy during her father's visit with his mother in 1879. She visited Mary Baker Eddy several times during her life and was christened by Eddy at a service held at Chickering Hall on February 26, 1888. Throughout her life, she acted as her father's personal secretary and secretary for the Glover Gold Mining Company. In 1907, along with her father, she was one of the plaintiffs in the Next Friends suit. She later became a member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, Massachusetts, and the Christian Science branch church in Lead, South Dakota.
