Carrie L. Boyden (b. ?) (c. 1853-?) was born in Wisconsin and died in an
unknown location. She worked as a music teacher in Denver, Colorado, for most of the
1880s. She studied Christian Science with Bradford Sherman, a student of Mary Baker
Eddy, in February 1886. Boyden later became a student of Eddy herself, completing the
Normal class in October 1887 and becoming a member of the Christian Scientist
Association. Boyden was listed in Denver city directories as a metaphysician in 1889,
however by 1890 she had left Denver.
