Emily J. Bushee (1837-1920) was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and died in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She was the wife of William A. Bushee, a Yale University graduate and Congregational pastor. In January 1885, she met with Mary Baker Eddy in Boston and later received Christian Science treatment through prayer from Catherine R. Marshall, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's.
